Introduced five years ago, C2 was immediately embraced by interior designers, architects, painting contractors and homeowners for its rich, vibrant colors, its superior performing paints and its advanced color tools. While most paint makers use just 12 colorants, all C2 colors are created with a sophisticated 16-colorant European tinting system. These four additional pigments enable C2 to create colors that are high in strength and opacity, giving C2 the best hiding power in the industry. C2 also addressed two common complaints heard from designers and consumers: it is difficult to make selections from such small paint chips, and the paint doesn't match the paint chip. C2 was the first coatings company in North America to introduce an oversized paint sample, the 18" x 24" Ultimate Paint Chip, made with real paint - not the industry standard printer's inks or lacquers. In fact, all of C2's color tools are made from C2 paint - fan decks, generously-sized take-home chips and the Ultimate Paint Chips. Finally, what you see on the chip is what you get on the wall.
