Pitture alla Calce Lime Paint

Pitture alla Calce is a traditional and historical lime paint specialty formulated for modern times. It has a matte, velvet-like finish, and contains well seasoned hydrated lime, coloring oxides, natural oils and specialty modifiers. Suitable for all wall applications including interior and exterior use; the paint will not peel or flake.

Pitture alla Calce can be applied on any properly applied substrate. Must be diluted with 25-35% clean water. May be applied with roller, brush and or spray gun, waiting 12 hours between coats. Can be applied with trowel or through stencils.

As a natural lime based paint, Pitture alla Calce's finish will appear flat and chalky. In order to allow the lime to breathe, the surface can only be sealed with a breathable type sealer. We recommend using Adicolor Lime Seal, diluted 20-30% with water and applied over the paint. Lime Seal can also be tinted with Color-All tints.

Available in a white base. Must be applied over Adi-Quartz Base Primer. May be tinted using Adicolor Color-All — do not use universal tints.
